So pitiful, but still crazy useful. So it hid, waiting for a chance to look nice again, and not 20 years old.
With the remodel going on in my studio, I just couldn’t resist throwing a little
Mod Podge - Gloss - 16 oz on it. And I thought I’d tie it into the drawers, which have map page fronts. Here’s how it ended up!
Ta Da!!! I’m really proud of it. Now for my inspiration, besides my own project http://stresstheseams.blogspot.com/2010/04/studio-rehab.html, which has a tutorial available at The Chipped Hammer, my hubby’s blog.
Then there is Little Miss Momma's Mod Podge Clipboard, which I STILL need to do to all of my clip boards (of which I can see ONLY four in use from my current location… jeeze).
And oh my heavens do I need to do THIS to my kitchen. Brandy’s idea is FABULOUS, especially the chalk cloth ones!
And The Cottage Home also has a fabulous tutorial HERE for covering magazine holders, which my studio could use as well.
And since I haven’t shown her enough love this week (hehe…okay, two days so far…but she is LOCAL!), here’s Delilah's Momma waxing poetic about Mod Podge too!
And don't forget! I'm gonna give away one of the items from this month's inspirations on June 1st! All you have to do is:
1. Become a Follower of StressTheSeams
2. Comment on one of the posts this month telling me what you would love to win!
International readers will have to pay their own shipping, but American followers will get it for free!
I'll close entries at 1am eastern standard time on June 1st and use the fabulous random number generator to select one wonderful winner. The prize will be a surprise for the reader, but I might just be looking at what they say....hint, hint! :)
So go become a follower and comment! And there will be other ways to get extra entries as the month goes on, so don't miss a day!
